Huis Ougoud Aged Care Centre in Welkom is the ideal place where time is bought out. Our name is a true reflection of our values and every resident is worth their weight in gold. Here we cherish everyone's most beautiful memories and we laugh and walk the road together every day (even if it is sometimes a shaky road).
Although Welkom is one of South Africa's youngest cities, it is also the second largest city in the Free State. Residents of Huis Ougoud therefore have access to everything they may need. The Centre is just a stone's throw away from the MediClinic hospital.

We have 11 self-catering units which consist of a spacious bedroom, one wall that consists of modern built-in wardrobes, a kitchenette and a living room. The well-appointed bathroom consists of a sit-in shower, sink and toilet with top-quality equipment to ensure the safety of the elderly as far as possible.
